So I ordered a helmet for my wife the Wednesday before Labor day weekend, and I decide to splurge on 2-day shipping because I had some "teamzilla" cash available. I swear 2 minutes did not go by and I get a call from these guys, to tell me that 2 day shipping won't make a big difference from regular free shipping due to a 1 day processing time, the long weekend, and UPS's schedule. More precisely, tuesday with 2 day shipping, wednesday with free shipping. So, they are taking the time (in a hurry ) to call me and let me know that I would be better off downgrading to free shipping, that way I save $30... Are you kidding me???? Who does that??? Best motorcycle gear company out there, period. They know their products extensively, have the best shipping and return policies, and above all, the very BEST customer service. I have tried a lot of internet vendors, some good, some ok, some SO bad (MC). Revzilla actually goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. Do not shop elsewhere if you find what you're looking for here. You'll be as satisfied as I am.
Woody's Wheels, by a lot. Not only are their products, service and knowledge of wheels fabulous, just check out the hundreds of questions Woody has answered on ADV--helping, coaching, and steering people right.
So would JVB (inmate) be considered a vendor, selling his DVD's? If so, my vote goes to him, not only for the great info in his DVD's, but also for sharing his wealth of information with anyone on this board who needs help. Also gotta put in a plug for Barb and company at Alaska Leather!
CJ designs Blackdog Woodies Wheelsmiths BBriggs Great Communication through PM's and phone conversations !!!!!! Great Products and knowledge !!
Beach Moto, Caribou Cases, Adventure Motostuff, Aerostich, Bestrest Products, Eastern Beaver. All great vendors.
I have to throw in a good word for Best rest. I placed an order a couple weeks ago and paid the extra for faster shipping. I got an email from them shortly thereafter telling me that they were going to send it another way. They were right! I got it one day sooner and almost $10 cheaper. Ya gotta love a company with customer service like that.
On my third set of Jesse's. Recently my latest set of Jesse Odessy bags (1 1/2 years old, so out of warranty) had a bolt break and one bag goes tumbling down a freeway at 70 mph and was hit by 3 cages and 1 tractor trailer bumper. Bag was twisted and mangled but was able to jack it back in to usable condition. Simple email to Jesse about what happened and ask for the cost of a single replacement bag since this damaged bag was really scratched and beat up. Without hesitation - a week later I got a brand new bag, handles & locks, and keys from Mr. Al Jesse.....Cost = Zero. That's what you call customer service!
Since Daz mentioned my name (thanks!), I'll add mine. I'm hard to please, but I must say that Caribou Cases was a pleasure to buy from. I inquired a few months ago if they could get a particular H-B rack for me (not listed on their website), and I had an email back from Roger within an hour with a lead time and price. I also just ordered a top case from them and again I received an email from Roger not long after ordering (at night!) to thank my for my order and let me know when I should expect delivery. Not to mention that their products are solid and the modifications are very high-quality work.
