Hey guys, im looking for pictures of Triumph Tigers with sidecars, even better if they have Leading link forks,so if you could post any that you have or point me to a link, that would be great. Many thanks.
Im at "work". Just now, I have only these: (first one is from "Bode", second one from Dauntless). Richard-NL
Try Dual sport Hacks , nice Steamer and Headingham sidecar with Leading Link or Tiger Project also which I am building (slowly) for my good mate SCray he will keep it posted
I have the engine in pieces (lots of) waiting for bits which are about to be ordered real soon. In the mean time I am finishing aBMW GSPD Sidecar and Leading Links and trying to gather bits for the Tiger such as S/C shocker, tyre, hub material, steel tube etc and SCray is getting the dollars together. So it will be a little longer until the whole rig comes to being. I am looking forward to getting it posted on this forum, should be real interesting!!!
had? Johno, as in it is a thing of the past? (Keep it to your self, but it looks like I may have a found a new toy!)
Chairhead - When I'm tempted to get a bit hissy with some of our antipodal bretheren, I try to remember that for a VERY long time they were pretty much the only ones talking sidecars on ADV, and much of our home here is due to their persistant prodding... Besides, it's the middle of the blinking winter there, and they're getting bored to the point where even Foster's starts to look good. Cheers Jim
I will try and get some pictures of the current (very) offroad rig we are almost finished putting together. Increased ground clearance, full DOM roll cage as per customer request for his wifes security, aux fuel tank in back of modified sidecar body, 3 spare tires on board, automotive rear wheel on original Tiger hub, HID lights, non adjustable struts, DOM subframe, Leading Legs, sidecar brake w/ wave rotor and Brembo caliper, T.I.L.T actuator and fully adjustable spring rate/position on double sided swingarm with 8" of travel and 8" of TILT movement. When its all together I will give 'Getback' pictures to post. It's pretty sweet. Designed to cruise gravel roads at speed and a major trip through the Alaskan Tundra across to the Atlantic. Cheers, Brock
Yeah I'll give it my best shot to get some photo's of the GSPD not the prettiest thing as the owner has asked me to put a Rhino box for storage. If all else fails I'll send the photo's to SCray for him to upload ( he good at that stuff)
