    He certainly did last year, shame he's not doing better this year. Looks like Kamaz didn't like being knocked off the top spot on the podium last year after Vlad Chagin retired from his long run of truck wins.

    He lost 1.5 hour in stage 9 because of technical problems. Rapid assistance didn't have the specific parts to fix it. There he lost Dakar.

    Wishful thinking I reckon. I wish I'd done what I said I'd do and put $1000 on Despres before this rally started. I was going to do it as soon as I heard Coma was out, saw odds of 3.5-1 still! But didn't want to risk the engagement ring fund.
