I'm still working on a kitchen pass... was hoping to leave thursday, then realized I'm going to the local county fair thursday evening to see Elvin Bishop, so I guess I'll have to leave friday AM.

anyone on the central coast wanna team up for the run up there? I'd love to avoid slabbing it most of the way, but I'd hate to spend more than about 8 hours getting there, so I'm sure I'll compromise on the route. maybe up the coast to the GG bridge, then cut across sonoma/napa or something.

I have a DMV appointment Friday morning in Davis, CA. Planning on leaving straight from there and heading to Quincy. Hopefully there will be an ADV camp somewhere already set up. I'll just listen for the AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHing.

Not sure about a route yet. Me and a buddy are going to have Breakfast at Casa Vicky in San Jose for homemade corn tortillas and chorizo. Then maybe up and out over Hamilton and Vasco road to one of the roads (160?) that runs up the Sack of Tomatoe river levees. Somehow we will end up in Oroville and then take Bucks Lake road into Quincy.

Just ruminating on a route right now - If we do it right we will get lost :D

looking like I might beeline it due east to route 49 around Sonora, and meet some of the Village Idiots for breakfast, then wander up 49 til we end up at Quincy.

Yeah, be carefull between Fairfield and Davis. CHP is running a no tolerance on speed thing. They pull 5 - 10 cars over at the same time.

Bring some bourbon for Dick. :deal
