Jabba has suggested we attend this show, as we did last year. I think that's a swell idea. He also suggested we should meet at Fado's for food and hoppy refreshments, as we also did last year. I think this is an even sweller idea.

For more info. on the show, go HERE.

For the scoop on Fado's, go HERE.

It won't be a drunk fest. Last year the real riders :evil among us rode to the show. 8 degrees isn't that cold. :arg

If it's 8 degrees (!) and I ride there, it *will* be a drunk fest. :dutch

Hehe. I put the handle bar muffs on this morning and was damn near hot. Had to turn the grips on low. Should be good down to single digits this year. Did keep the Gerbing on high though but haven't put the fleece liner in the jacket yet.

(not trying to change plans for this year but RFD is another great location. Prolly not the best for riding to since they have a couple hundred great beers that you can't get anywhere else in the area.)

You have to be nuts to ride in 8 degree weather.

A SFOTLC! In D.C.! Come on over. :D

I'm flexible as to date and time. Should we drink before or after touring the show? :freaky

Its right next door to Fado (Fado is 808 7th St NW). Something like 300 different bottled beers and 40 taps. Plus several cask conditioned Real Ales.

The owner, BeerGuyDave (Dave Alexander I think) was the co-owner of the Brickskeller for many years but recently, he and his wife bought out their partners and now fully own both RFD and the Brick.

Food is decent the several times I've been there.

I'll be in town Fri, Sat, Sun but Saturday would be the easiest. I'm not driving so I can drink any time. :1drink But I think it would be better if I went to the show sober. I'm better behaved that way. :D
