KTM forks on your Airhead! Group Buy Two

I've had two pm's recently to ask about getting in on the deal.... is it now closed and all signed for?

The material arrived yesterday, and I have received deposits from almost everyone who committed. I will get to work on the triples next week, so if the other interested people want to contact me and get on the list before then they can be included in this project.

I have just seen this post and I was wondering if the tripples you are doing is for a complete KTM frontend?
I have a frontend from a KTM EXC450 complete with frontwheel, calipher and rotor which I want to use on my G/S

If this is the case then I am interested in one if it´s not to late!

The project is rolling, the 4860's are on the machine right now, hope to have them finished by Sunday. Then have to move to some other work for a couple days and will be back to the 50mm mid-week. Assuming the stems arrive as promised, the project should be finished up by the last week of the month. I will give a firmer date when I get the final parts in my hands.

Just got my extended monolever in the mail and the forks are at the suspension shop so I'm also excited to know an ETA!

If regular work would slow down I would have had them finished by now! In order to keep up with my regular customers I am only able to work on the triple project in short spurts. I have been off of them for the past two weeks, but am lining them up again today and will hopefully keep on them through next Thursday. Thanks for your patience on this, I haven't seen this kind of work load in years....hopefully a sign that (at least locally) manufacturing is turning around???

It has also come to my attention that there might be an issue with the KTM stem or more likely the stem nut. Last buy from KTM, they had discontinued the original nut and washer assembly that had considerably more purchase into the stem threads and replaced it with an all-in-one nut/washer that is much shorter. I would be happy to produce the stem/nut in house to the original tall nut-specs if this will resolve this problem. It might even be quicker as I am running into the same no-commitment delivery on the stems as last time. Or maybe this is a non-issue/one time thing? Hopefully someone who knows more about it can give some input.

No, I do not make the risers. But BRP makes quite a selection of standard risers in different heights, or a SUB mount to use with the Scotts Stabilizer.

I'm in for an original spec stem and nut.

Long/tall nuts for me.

The "new" KTM bolt has 12mm of thread length, a "new" KTM stem will accept a maximum of 15mm threads, which adds only 3mm/.125". I'm doubtful that this is enough to make a difference.

I could make the stem and nut out of 7075, which should add considerable strength to the assembly....but is it necessary? Let me know what you all would prefer...I would need to cancel the order for the KTM parts.
