Be careful. I see 2 major problems. One may not be that big, depending on what is involved in getting a title. In AZ it takes 3 years and about $300. Not all at once. You can get a bonded title fairly quickly after an inspection and getting a bond, which allows you to register it and ride it. But you must keep the bonded title (and pay for the bond) for 3 years before you get a real title. The other thing is parts, or lack thereof. I learned my lesson the hard and expensive way about fixing up older Japanese bikes. You might get lucky, but at some point you are going to need a part that is not available anywhere at any price.
