Texas Day Ride

My wife and I are moving to Atlanta from Los Angeles. We will have our bikes on a trailer behind the moving truck, and would like to do a couple of half-day rides. We will be coming across I-20 and making an over-night stop in Dallas. Anywhere you could recommend for us that is along that route that would be interesting?

When will you be in Dallas? We have a monthly ride on second Saturday of the month.

Will miss it by 4 days. We will be in Dallas on Wednesday the 10th. That would have been great.

I dont know where you are staying along 20 but the link below is a cool little route that you could do in half a day or a full day depending on if you stop or not. At point B there is a great BBQ place or there are lots of restaurants by the Cedar Creek Lake.
