    5 Hondas, 4 HD, 4 bmw, 2 KLR 3 Yamaha.

I'd rather break it down a little differently.
    7 cruiser, 3 ST, 5 DS, 3 50cc kid bikes.

I'd like another 1100S to keep and another KLR to keep. Or something like those. The Switchback is staying. :evil

Not sure what that means. Some Harley riders like to ride, maybe not off road, but there's a lot of street riders here.

    Currently:
    02 FXDX Superglide Sport
    76 Shovelhead FLH
    01 Buell M2

    Had
    Various Harleys since 1976 + 1 74 BMW R90/6 (wasn't my cup of tea)

Started on an 02 V-Max, and that's when I actually joined this site. I loved to tool around Montana looking for the perfect roads.

Went an 83 GL1100 interstate when I moved back to florida. Used it to get back and forth to school till problems started surfacing. Traded it in on a 2011 Wide Glide, which is what I have now (and soon will be my only form of transport),

I like the site for the rides, the people and the knowledge base, and will be here as long as I'm not banned. The bike isn't what I thought I was going to like though, so eventually, I'll go back to a true touring style bike.

Yeah, I wanted an adventure so after I bought my '07 HD Street Bob I bought and kept:
    '04 GSXR600
    '73/75 HD Sportster
    '81 XS400
    '80 CB750K
and an '05 Honda Rebel for the wife.

    My first motorcycle was a '75 CB500.

Not sure if I've had an adventure or not yet so maybe I need to step it up to a Ducati Panigale or BMW HP4. That's at least what I'm trying to convince the wife of... :D

One of these is not like the others:
    '93 H-D Low Rider
    '99 H-D Super Glide
    '07 H-D Road Glide
    '11 Husky TE630

Those are the current rides. The 1st 3 bikes I owned were dual sports, back in the day when they called them scramblers and enduros. Since then I gravitated towards the street, with a couple of Triumphs, a XS750 Yamaha, and a few other Harleys. The Husky is the throwback to my roots.

    '12 KTM 500EXC

    Former:
'06 Triumph Speed Four (sold to buy the Tiger)
'06 Street Glide (sold to buy the KTM)

    Near Future:
    '06 Sprint ST

With the Sprint doing double duty as a Sport and Sport Touring bike I think I'll have all the bases covered at that point. Eventually I'll get another big Harley bagger.

That will be a nice balance of bikes. I've been toying with selling the Low Rider and getting the new FZ-09.

Went by the local dealer that had the '06 Sprint to find out that they sold it earlier this week. So time to do some more searching to find another for a good price.

    '05 Kawasaki Ninja 250

There are a number of reasons why I finally got a Harley, my first cruiser, not the least of which is the fact that our local dealer has been THE friendliest to me and the most active in our community. Some inmates reading this may have even stayed in their free camping area for motorcycle travelers.

Warmest regards from way up north, Mark H.

Previous HD's: (I would put all my previous bike up there, but that would take a while)

1996 Sportster (originally an 883, built to 1200, then 88")
2001 FXDXT T-sport. (Sold it to someone on ADV)
1989 Sportster (bought as project, sold as project)
1994 FXR (Traded in for Victory Hammer)

I also rebuilt my dad's 2004 Glide Ultra and put about 1000 break in miles on it. It had 93000 miles, so we had the crank done at Darkhorse and I did the rest. 95" kit, FI tuner, TW-21 cams, mild port to heads. Really solid running bike. He's got it in Florida now, but plans on selling since he bought a 14 Street Glide.

    Currently owned bikes:

    1977 RD400
2000 CBR600F4 (project bike, blown engine getting a rebuild, then convert to FI and turbocharge)
    2013 Victory Vision.

The Vision is absolutely, hands down, the best bike I've ever owned.

    wife's current bikes:
    honda c70 passport
honda crf230f (heavily modified) dual sport
    bmw f650gs twin
had a harley fxdl but hated it - gone now.

    my current:
    ktm 950 adventure
xr650r (heavily modified, dirt & sumo wheels, e-start) - favorite, can do it all - dual sported
kdx220 (heavily modified and street legal)
harley fxdwg 116" in stealth mode. fun on road but 950 is moreso everywhere

seems the past few years, i have lost so many good friends on bikes hit by cars - more and more, i find less desire to be on asphalt. personally i have had two very close encounters with inattentive drivers - if i had been on my harley, i would not have gotten out of the way. luckily i was on my ktm and could maneuver it quickly and nimbly enough to survive.

You guys are such a blessing for me. Whenever my wife points at my 6 bikes that I currently own I just talk about this guy who owns 20, and this other guy who owns 15, and this other guy who owns.... and she turns around and leaves me alone. :lol3

    2009 Nightster
    2010 Ultra Limited
    2011 R1200RT
    2012 R1200GS/A

The only bike I miss is the Adventure, but I don't miss the ungodly amount of oil it used (4 gallons between changes in 19,000 miles).

Like to add a V-Strom or something similar for commuting.
