Finally got around to trying to contact Doug Henry about his seat shock absorber and swivel assembly, I have emailed the guys on this website to see if they can put us in touch. In the video half way down the page he mentions using a mountain bike shock in the set up on the mx bike, hopefully we can get in touch and figure it out.

Sounds like a plan for sure. It's just so hard/time consuming to get permits.

Is it one of the rear air shocks Andy?

James, are you interested in a good look around the Jimna area in the New Year?

You can drive to Jimna itself and cut down on your bitumen time, and we can show you around a bit through a few different areas! You shouldn't have any problems getting a permit from Woodford or Kilcoy.

Seat suspension is all guesswork at the moment but I am guessing they use a mountain bike rear shock as it should be fairly close to a good spring and damping rate for a seat. Dougs seat also allows for an amount of tilt fore and aft and sideways to allow a para to lean without chafing all the time thats the mount we need to figure out. Hoping I may get some joy from my emails.
