You guys have some nice photos too! hope you get to continue your ride south and keep sharing your wonderful stories and pics :D
Thanks Finn! there is no doubt that several of your photos would make it in the HU calendar year after year.... but why not putting out a calendar with your photos only? I would definitely buy one! I will do that with our photos next time and share it with friends and family
Appreciate the heads-up! but HU got the credits right for the photos you mentioned :D. Naomi took that photo of me on that awesome looking bridge and won a HU's fleece jacket and a T-shirt for it :clap

No worries... we can agree to disagree regarding luggage. Cheers.
I liked the old Heidenaus K60 because they had a lot more traction on dirt/mud/snow/rocks than the new Heidenau K60 'Scout'... a piece of :topes in my experience (that center band kills any kind of traction) good for pavement only... and VERY light off road IMHO. The Metzeler Sahara Enduro 3 are not good: terrible life (dead @ 8,000 kms / 5,000 miles) and not the best off-road feeling. I wouldn't buy them again.

I have a Shinko 700 on the front now and I am VERY impressed with: life, traction, stability and stickiness on twisty roads. And I paid $39 for it @ Motorcycle Superstore. On the rear, I still have the VeeRubber we put in Argentina... but will be replaced next riding season as it's on its last legs after 18,000 kms / 11,000 miles. Great tyres and surprisingly good on snow :huh

    Thanks Mark!

Hi Alberto and Naomi - I followed your trip and PMd with you a couple of times while you were on your trip. Some news from my side - I am moving to Victoria this weekend and will now be in your neck of the woods. Let me know if you are on the Island and maybe we could meet for a coffee or go for a ride (road only tho - I changed bikes last year and despite the marketing hype a Multistrada is a road bike only IMO!)

    Hi guys,

So proud to report that Bike Magazine chose to interview us for a feature published in their December 2013 magazine. "Adventure: from Canada, through the USA and into South America. Matching kit; matching bikes and matching massive engine failures"

    So honoured. :clap
