I can't speak to the Trophy specifically, but I have a ST1300 which has been my "day to day" bike for about 5 years now, 3 of which it was my only transportation. Since the Trophy is lighter than the ST, it should be even better.

I finally got to see the Trophy in person today. The local dealer had one in silver with bags and no trunk for just under $20,000.00.
When I sat down on the seat it felt good and the reach to the bars was decent. It wasn’t on a center stand so I had the salesman hold the bike up so I could get my feet up. I was very cramped. Now understand that I am all legs and arms. I also had the salesman take a picture from the side and you can see that my leg is bent at about a 45 degree angle. The good was the bike felt much lighter- or less top heavy than I thought the explorer did and the handlebar was low but didn’t seem bad while sitting. Lots of nifty controls and toys if the 130 plus Horsepower doesn’t keep you entertained!

Does anyone know if the sprint gt and the trophy use the same panniers. There's a guys on eBay selling reflective tape for the rear of the panniers and if they're the same I'd like to get some.

US spec Trophy's come with the low seat. You can get the "high" seat (standard spec in Europe) or, better yet, have Russell, Meyer, or Seth Laam mod your seat. Do it one time and do it right.
