All right, the time has finally come. Im going to be taking my '02 XR650L to all the lower 48 states, and possibly more. I live in Orange County, California, and will be heading in a counter clockwise rotation. My '02 XR650L has 1,700 miles on it currently, and I'm looking to put around 20,000 miles on it by the time I'm done. I've planned on being on this trip for around 4 - 6 months. I've been wanting to do this for over a year now, and have had a great time planning it.

I have many goals for this trip including; hitting the 4 extreme corners, seeing a shuttle launch, and seeing my friend's wedding. I also want to stop and take a picture at a Honda dealer in every state. I know that some states don't have "only" Honda dealerships. So as long as there is a Honda sign then I'm good. Other than that I don't really have any other times or places to be. I do have places I want to go and people I want to see, but those are all flexible. So if anyone wants to get together and do some riding, let me know.

I've created an email for this trip for anyone who wants to contact me. People can either contact me here or PM me on this site, if you're a fellow inmate.

I'd also like to thank all my friends and family who helped make this trip possible. You all know who you are.

You've got the right stuff! Although some may disagree and criticize your minimalist approach to such an epic adventure, most detractors will have just never got it between their ears to start off on such a great ride with such a simple approach. You can't buy enough stuff to make it happen. F@#% farkles and Just Do It.

    Nice bike!:clap

I envy you! Sounds like a fantastic trip. If you come through Mississippi, and need anything give me a shout. My BRP is jealous of the trip yours is taking.

Well unfortunately I didn't make it to Prescott AZ today. Ill be camping out in the desert in south western AZ. Also my camera broke so ill have to get a new one. I can't take pics, but I can get the ones I took off... I believe. So ill post them up when I get to Flagstaff tomorrow night. 7 hours of off roading and all the troubles that go with it was fun yesterday. Apparently there was an earth quake like 70 miles from me. Where I was it was it 6.9 I believe. LOL I was ridding and didn't even feel it. O well off to camp. I WANNA UPLOAD AWESOME PICS.
