'77 R75/7 frame question.

    Is the R75/7 frame different than the /5 or /6?

    Will things like battery box covers and seats interchange? How is this different than the short wheel base models as far as seats go... or is there any difference?

    All parts in question should not be an issue.They are mostly rear frame related.

    It was popular to convert some of the LWB later bikes to SWB amongst some Hot Rodders. So you used to find R90's and R100's with SWBes sometimes. Haven't seen one of these in years.

    There are lots of subtle differences. Double back bone and an extra cross tube under the steering head are the big ones that I can think of right now. /6's got the extra back bone tube in '75 I believe.
