When I was doing Search and Rescue, we got called up to Yosemite to help out in a search. We were getting the obligatory briefings about the bears. Yup, mountains, woods, bears check. That night when we were setting up out tents I asked where the K-9 units were and promptly headed over. My buddies were :huh. I explained to them that when the bear does coome around, my red neck alarm will go off and I will be awake!

In bear country I like sleeping with the dogs. Wait that didn't come out quite right.

This search and rescue sounds a lot like a fox hunt...

Badass Hobos are also a good bear deterrent.

My plan was to NOT shoot the bear but to kneecap the clown with the .45 then the rest of us could get away.

I can't believe he never smelled the bacon grease I rubbed on his tent every night before we went to bed.
