The way his was setup wasn't happening. The axle needed to be right where it was supposed to be. He blew out one tire and heavily damaged the sidewalls of two other tires just moving it out of thew way so people could get through. He said insurance covered the parts he needed and 3 new tires. Which surprised me haha.

If it was a YJ ya'll busted one on it's not as critical since the YJ is leafsprung. On a coil sprung TJ or later Wrangler you HAVE to have the track bar since the coils offer no side to side locating like a leaf spring would.

Heavily modified YJ with 4 link setup and 37" tires. Fun while it lasted but she's gone now.
Glad to hear insurance gets to pay the bills. Best news I heard all day!

Anybody ever gone to the top to watch all the firework shows? Did it 20 years ago but there was a lot less big public shows back then.

We did it a few years back and it was totally worth it. You could see shows all the way around and down into san diego. Well worth the trip up even if you have to take the long way from Ortega.

I'm going to assume he probably didn't tell them it happened off pavement

"yeah I don't know what happened, was driving down the road all slow and nice and all of a sudden something broke. "

I went up last year. Good quantity, poor quality. They are far and itty bitty. We are going up during the day and coming back home to watch independence day.

I also did it last year with Mud

the fireworks are tiny from up there!

not really worth a 2nd time imho...I was more about the ride than the fireworks

bike is currently out of commission anyways....
