How to switch of head lights

Always find it stupid to drive off road with lights on, also makes no sense when the bike is idling in the garage. I know there is a way to switch them off that includes pushing the left and right indicator switches simultaneously and then some other button or so. Did it some time ago and forgot

Anybody knows the trick ???

Thx ! Will try ! There was another way to switch them off while the engine is running though but if this works I will be happy.

I bought the Euro switchgear for my 1100gs. Not sure if the new models are different between US and Euro though.
