Wixom on Krauser supports?

I have a set of beat up Krauser bags. Was wondering if I bought wixom bags if they would fit properly on the krauser? supports? Thanks.

Maybe you could build some racks for the Wixom's. I don't think you will have much luck putting Wixom's on the Krauser racks.

The Wixom racks are sometimes sold with out the bags but by and large most racks get sold with bags so having a pair of bags means you are looking for the odd pair of racks that may not show up right away.

I'll keep shopping around. Perhaps I'll score both. I am sure it'll cost plenty. Thanks for the reply.

Not that you asked, but Bucos and Wixom mounts are very similar. The only way I can imagine putting Wixoms on Krauser mounts would be to make up some sort of intermediate mount that attaches to the krater rack that then, in turn, receives the Wixom bag.

I have a pair of Fuller's or Fulton"s (can't get too them). They are the same as Wixom's, use the bent flat steel racks. I think there were others that made copies.

The way the Wixom's attach is by the two plugs on the rack fit in holes in the bag and a wire keeps them in place. If you made a flat piece with the plugs and welded that to the Krauser racks, it might work.

Look for some pics of how the Wixom's work. I'd take a photo for you but it's not easy to get to.

I'll do some searching on wixom mountings. The internet is full of pics. I might just build some or modify to fit. Thanks.

Maxmillion, what part of the country are you? I've got a used pair of Wixoms with mounts but shipping might be a killer.

I built a set of adapter plates that allowed me to put my wixoms on my krauser racks, wasn't hard, but I don't have any pics, sorry! I just used an aluminum plate, bolted that to the krauser rack, then bolted the wixoms to the plate, not quick disconnect, but it worked.
