Basic rules:

Price - You must include a price.

Correspondance - All correspondence to be conducted by entering a "conversation" ( old Private Message or PM method ) with the inmate not in the thread.

Compliance - Ads that do not comply with the rules above will be deleted and you will have to do a new one.

Expiration - Ad's expire after 6 weeks and will be removed from view.


How to help make the flea-market a better place:

When you sell it, or bump it go to "EDIT POST" at the bottom of your original post and then tick the "NUKE" box to delete the post.

Time to move this bike on, it's the 3rd of these early gen Vstroms I've had and far and away the best. Have owned for about 2 years but have ridden twice in the last year and it's too good a bike to gather dust.

I don't know much about what's been done to the engine except a) it has electrocyl stickers on the panniers which makes me think the heads have been off b) it doesn't have the typical chudder and sounds quieter than my previous DL1000 even after I put the clutch basket in it so I assume it's been done and c) it goes ridiculously harder than the previous bike.

What you see is what you get - pic attached of previous ad (2 years ago) for a bit of info. Cheap spotties are held on with leccy tape, windshield is pretty crazed and it has cracked a weld on one of the pannier brackets, haven't had a chance to fix yet but your welding skills may be better than mine. But overall a very nice one or two up bike.

OK back story. Some may know that I with my long suffering partner Katrina have been riding RTW for 7 years. All along we have been using KLIM gear. It really does live up to it's reputation. This July we were in Nth America and took the opurtunity to drop by KLIM's headquarters in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Long story short we bought a new set of gear each. Me the above, Katrina the Artimus jacket and pants. We are not sponsored in any way whats so ever, and pay full retail always.

In any case between mid July and mid September, we went up to Deadhorse and then down to San Antonio Texas. Total days useage would be approx 30 +/- seeing as we ride about every second day. In short they essentially present as new. Most will know that this gear is KLIM's top of the line and it really shows.

Next year we head to Central America and onto South America. This gear will not be suitable in the stifling heat and humidity down there. That is the sole reason for selling.

I'm in the Bega valley, freight at your cost. I will be travelling to Melbourne and Geelong at the end on October, so could bring them with me if that works. Ocaasionally I get up to Canberra, so could possibly deliver up there as well.

I'm 6'1" and 90 kgs, so pretty average and it fits great. KLIM are known for their loose fit. Typically I'd be a 34 in the pants, but not with these, if that helps.
