Round-the-World rider Juri has two Honda XR650R at Kuala Lumper International Airport Cargo Terminal. Bikes were shipped from Iran and arrived in beat up state. One bike will not start. Yuri has tools and spares but needs a place to work.

(Yuri's riding partner had to return to Germany due to family emergency. I volunteered to ride the 2nd bike to Bangkok where we will store it until he can resume the tour.)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!

Local Malaysian number is 017-635 2155

    As stated previously:
    :deal

I am going to have to return to Bangkok soon. I hate to leave Yuri alone with two bikes, one of which does not run, but I did not plan or schedule to waste 3 days at the KL airport :puke1

Tony - so sorry! Just saw your message...

If there are any issues left you are welcome to work on it at our place. If you get started and have issues the best place for working on bikes in Malaysia is on the island of Penang.
I'm currently riding my KLX351 up to Bangkok from KL...

I just found a brilliant Dutch mechanic in Krabi... Patrick is his name and his number is 0805333433 if you need any help on the way up or just want a competent mechanic to go over your bike.
