Leaving very shortly, for the second time...just picked up a new water pump gasket from Excalibur this morning...waiting for the windscreen deflector that was supposed to arrive yesterday by UPS :huh Ya, I know but no choice in shipping methods. Other than that, the bike is loaded and ready :clap

Keep your eye on my Trip Report Thread, should liven up any day now :lol3

Probably one of the most relaxed day of riding In a long time but turned out great. Rain overnight but then cleared tone at perfect riding conditions. Sunny light breeze and plus 24. Went out with Paul's uncle and did the "wildlife loop", mount Coolidge lookout and then up through the needles highway. Spectacular scenery and great roads. All paved today. It's getting sunny and hot so back at camp for miller time!

Hey Rob - I share your UPS woes. I was supposed to pick up a new laptop today at Rydens. Turns out - it was likely stolen before it even left Duluth on the truck. Another one was shipped and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Hope this one makes it.

Well, at least you found out what happened to it! A few years ago, they talked about putting an ID code into the main processors on laptops. Guess now we know why! (on the bright side, at least D will be off tomorrow to keep you company for the drive down)

I was watching that bike and was actually considering going in and working out a trade on my 800. My loss your gain, good to see you pulled the trigger and let the dust out if your wallet. You will not be disappointed.

Another good day in the Black Hills. Did a mix of dirt and paved down to Hot Springs and then back to Custer through Pringle. Stopped at an old cemetery. Pretty cool, they have American flags on ALL veteran graves of everyone back to the Spanish American war.

Have had near perfect weather with a thunder storm overnight with enough rain to keep the dust down but clear skies all day

Beauty day perfect riding temps of 18-22 depending on altitude.

Doing the ride tomorrow with Nanabijou...here to Atikokan, 622 to 17, then the 502 to Fort, and back through the Choke on 11.

Many beer and much animal flesh will suffer, and the wenches will swoon over the mighty CBR125's!!!!! [evil laugh]

Yes, got the 700. Its in Toronto so has to be shipped up, the one in the showroom had a lot of added costs from accessories, and most i wasn't really crazy about. I will post a pic as soon as i get it.

Mine has no on board computer. Just heated grips and ABS. Less bells and whistles to break. Tyre pressure monitoring? No thanks! Let me know when it gets here and we'll do lunch in Sioux Narrows.
