Took my brother out for a bit of riding yesterday. Rode a while on the roads, and then found some "trails" I had heard of in Goose Creek for his first time going through the mud.

I'm gonna try and get out to Wambaw the morning of Christmas Eve if anyone would like to join. I've revalved the forks and need to try and dial it in.

Anybody know the procedure for getting a season pass at Wambaw? Seems like I'm making the trip out pretty often. Unable to find the details on how you acquire a pass online.

Broxton Bridge Dual Sport is Jan. 18,19 2014
If you ride a dual-sport 530 and smaller this is
a MUST ride. I'll be there again on the GRN KLR 650
and last year it was tough but still fun. This ride is
only once a year and most of the trails used are
open to motorcycles only for this event. It's a
roll chart based ride your own pace ride and
suitable for first time dual-sporters up to seasoned
enduro racers. Hope to see some of you out there.

    2 ways to do it:
#1 Contact the USFS at their Huger headquarters. They sell them there. But call first to make sure someone is their who can handle $.

#2 Come out to a workday and help out for 8 hours. Then you get one for free!:evil
The Coastal Off-Road Riders Association helps out with trail maintenance projects. Go to www.corrasc.com for more info or go to the facebook page. Or, you can PM me. I can let you know about our upcoming plans for the new off-load ramp to be built at the trailhead!!:clap

Thanks Eric, I will be missing Broxon... but keep me in the loop and if we can get a trio or so of scary dirt road/power cut riders together some weekend... pm me. I now ride a DR650, but it looks like I have a huge amount of forest behind my house. Have not seen a posted sign, might buy a small disp two stroke and a compass. And might need an acomplice

    Hi guys,
    Been lurking here for awhile.
Looked into the CORRA web site, seems it is closed to registration and the last postings were about a year ago.?
Hoping I am wrong, would love to get involved.
Would like to get this aging rider with his KLX 650 R put to some good use.
    Good luck guys.
    Great thread.

meeting the CMA group for a group ride open to all, meets at 2pm at the
Goose Creek Sonic on HWY176 (St. James Avenue) ride leaves by 2:30,
ride an hour or so to stop and eat at St. James Place resteraunt . After dinner
headed up to Wambaw for trail condition and lighting test, hopefully the sand will
be wetted down enough to be fun on the KLR650. $5 to feed the box at Wambaw and bring your own dinner money for St. James place. Please stay on the trail so they can continue to keep it open when damp. Hope to see some of you out. Probably at Wambaw ~5-6pm

It was perfect. I made it out this AM for two loops...South a little muddy in the 'clay' areas but otherwise great conditions.

Check the broxton bridge thread. Fantastic ride. Very tight woods sections and great weather for hustling through the woods.
