Wondering if anybody has any experience with either of these bar risers.

I now have a Russel Day-Long Seat which of course sits me up a little higher. I noticed that the result was a little extra stress on my lower back.

I was thinking of going with the 35 mm from Wunderlich but came across the Bar-Bax from Bob's I don't know that I need to have the bars come back and it may actually interfere with the tank bag. That being said I don't want to count them out.

Anybody have first hand experience with either of these? Also recommendations for rerouting cables?

    Considering these for 88 R100GS.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Use the Wunderlich if you you only want to make the bars taller and the Bob's if you want to go up and back towards you.

    Well.... Yeah.... But...

Maybe more looking to see if anybody has run into issues with the cables on either and what they did to fix the problem. Or how they found they had to run the cables before I did the same wrong thing/things that they had done.

It's not going to change anything with cables or any arrangements. I've run even the euro bar clutch cable on the US tall bars. If you're worried about it, just get the US longer length cables, no big deal.

    Wunderlich 25mm risers here on a 92 R100GSPD

Just a rise, not a rise & back. Good as I also use the Wunderlich tank bag and if they went further back there might be issues.

No issues with cables and made the bike much more comfortable.
