I have a 33oz MSR Fuel Bottle in mine. You could go with two, or fuel and a tire kit or other tools.

A little bit of acetone or carb cleaner on a cloth will remove the yellow writing on the cap...

For now I don't want to put anything in them that I would be sad to loose. If they prove to want to stay there I expect to use one for tire and chain maintenance stuff (nice isolated location to keep the dirty chain brush and stuff away from everything else). The other one I expect will end up holding either a bottle for fuel or water or toilet paper, dict tape, wire, etcc - stuff you might need on any ride short or long but never seem to have.

I'm betting you'll be fine. Looks like you have a good mounting method there. Have a similar mount for mine and it has 15K.....with lots of off road and gravel. Still there.

Took the strom on a road trip. Four days behind those big rocks you can just see on the horizon. 2897kms. I'm liking this one.
