    Just got this from Barrett.

    Price seems reasonable.

Our slip on pipe for the 1190 is now available for $495. It is a single pipe which is 3kgs lighter than the standard muffler. I've just uploaded some photos to our webpage if you'd like to have a look.

ou can choose either black, silver or gold cannister with a silver end cap for $495 - price includes gst and postage australia wide.

    For me, it looks o.k.

But, I would prefer one muffler on each side.

If I hadn't already plonked down for a Wings, I'd be all over that.

I reckon it looks fine, but I'm also happy shaving my head.

YeahI can't see any issues with the wayit looks either. Sounds fine as well.

If I can't sort a twin system soon, I think I will go this way. Price is certainly right.

Yeah, but you're like me, not a pretty boy. We could shave our asses and tattoo eyeballs on them and no one would know any different.

I'm looking for a Barrett for the BuMW. It says it has a tunable baffle?

Has anyone had any experience with the Barrett exhaust on the 1190 KTM yet?
I'm wondering if they did any dyno work to come up with the proper outlet size etc.
The product looks great to me and the price seems right.
Wondering how, if at all, it changes the power delivery of the bike as well as the weight difference?

I would really like to see some dyno numbers for the Akra vs some other 1 litres superbike muffler.

The better with this Barrett is the smaller size. Looks fine.

I would really like to see some performance data on the Barrett. I think it looks good from an overall aesthetic point of view, but I am curious about the inlet pipe to the muffler. I noticed how it nozzles down, and that got me thinking. Considering the net positive pressure from the direction of the muffler inlet to the exhaust I think that the exhaust gas speed will increase as it passes by the necked down section immeadiately before the muffler body. OTOH, if the nozzled down pipe just I front of the muffler body increases back pressure, will the system think that there is too much fuel (through the O2 sensor), and lean out the mixture?

Anyone have any experience with the Barrett yet? Thought I might order one up to play around with. No extra shipping to the US currently.

I had one on a Husky 610 and it was real nice. I think the price is good for the 1190. I went with the Wings shorty and really like it - the Barrett wasn't out at the time.

I like the looks of it on the R in black with the silver tip, should work fine with the racks I'm getting and the Wolfman bags. For the money I think I'll order one. If Leo Vince was making something I'd wait for them, but it will be awhile.

I couldn't be happier with mine. The sound is awesome and isn't too loud, but it barks nicely when you turn up the wick. Less than 500 bucks delivered too, so it leaves money left over for other farkles :clap
