I'very seen a few examples posted where our brethren have discovered ways to mount a standard Garmin GPS behind and above the Instrument Cluster. Unfortunately, very few pics or descriptions are available showing how this was done.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket mount or bracket available for the F800GS to get the GPS solidly mounted above the instruments? I have a 2014, sold in the US.

Looking for options that don't require the purchase of a new fairing or windscreen. I am currently rocking a Givi Airflow, built for an F700 but slightly modified to fit the F800GS.

get the support bar for the BMW Touring screen, the GIVI screws right on and then you've got a bar to clamp onto.

I know you have it sorted but for the record, best one I've seen is a Turkish guy that sells form Facebook, $175 us delivered

    Search F800gpsholder

I see this month he as added the option of a 12mm cross bar instead of the 16mm.
It's quite a well thought out bracket and mounting plate

I would think it would, that's why they made the top section hinged to adjust to different angle windscreens

Inmates - following up on a previous post.

I installed the BMW support bar made for the 800 GSA and touring windscreen, and then reinstalled my Givi Airflow (made for the F700).

The Givi required two holes to be drilled, but everything fits nice and securely.

Then, mounted the Garmin 660 above the Instrument Cluster. Works great, and does not obscure speedo or tach.

Although I was concerned about clearance with my Touratech Windscreen, I also fitted the bmw touring screen support bar to my F800GS, and an SW-Motech Cockpit GPS Mount... Puts my GPS perfectly over the gauges, safely behind the screen but clearly visible whether I'm in the saddle or on the pegs. Just waiting now on my iPhone 6 plus holder also from SW-Motech...
