Ah ha. You mean the way that most of us here watch the Dakar every year! It can be a very exiting way to watch in some weird way.

Did you guys running this app have any issues losing connection during the race? Mine was pretty spotty. Really cool app, but blows through battery power in a hurry!

Yes, Bernie's getting a little frisky there. :huh You'd think having a young wife that's a foot taller than him would chill him a bit. I'm rooting for Alonso also: I think he's been the driver of the year. He drives with his head and his heart and he's been calm though all the ups and downs of the season. The damn Red Bull will HAVE to have problems I think. Time for finger man to have a mechanical. :deal Be amazing if Vettel DNF'ed and Massa won, with enough points for Alonso to be the WDC. :lol3

    This.

    +1,000

Where is Grosjean now that we need him? If he qualies 3rd or 4th, he's in with a chance to take the finger out.

And we can only hope for an alternator failure.

Maybe MarkW will do a payback takeout....

    The possibilities are out there.

All Alonso needs is Maldonado to line up next to Vettel on the front row. He'll take him out in turn one. No really..........

I really want to see a good race between Red Bull and Ferrari Sunday. Let it play itself out.

The odds are against Alonso, Red Bull have won the last three Brazilian GPs. It seems that they understand how to set their cars-up for Interlagos.

I think that Alonso deserves the championship more than any other driver this year but it rarely goes to the most deserving.

Given that Vettel only has to out-score Alonso by a very small margin, I reckon that they'll get a Renault truck alternator slapped on and to hell with the weight penalty. :D

Yeah we're looking at a DNF for Vettel in reality. I'd still like to see Alonso win regardless. In a car the Steve "Motormouth" Matchett called the worst car ever by Ferrari.

I watched a couple of laps of the race today so that I could check out the track with thoughts of attending the MotoGP race. Looks promising. I haven't watched any F1 in some time, but I think I saw....overtaking???:lol3

    No you were imagining things.

They've added a bunch of overtaking enhancements and rules and except for vettel being way out front done decent getting some overtaking in.

I think Massa will be given orders to do whatever it takes to keep Vettel behind him. With his Ferrari contract renewed, he can now repay the compliment to his loyal team.

There is the minor problem of getting in front of Vettel.

Ferrari seems to get away with everything else, so why not?
