    Thank you HogFan,
If crowd and pollution is not problem for you, you should go round India. I think India is realy magic country and Indians so friendly and that is so safe country. I didn't encountered any problem in here.

Thankyou Moradam for an inspiring report.
I wonder sometimes whether car drivers do trips like this and write reports, but I bet they don't.

I went across northern India in 1976, part of the overland thing from England to Australia, by bus/trains etc. Now close to retiring, my dream is the Mahendra highway along the lower lands of Nepal, but including India as part of the get there/get back. As you mentioned earlier, the hardest part is the decision to go, the rest is just planing.

Thanks for the wonderful photography. I may have missed it in the RR, but what camera did you take? I hate carrying a brick as I see so many tourists lugging around, preferring something I can slip into my pocket, but there is always a trade off with picture quality, and your's are superb.

Just came across this thread. What stunning photography....Moradam has the eye. Beautiful feel for the "incredible India" (their tourist slogan). I lived in India for 2009, and also spent close to a year in India & Nepal/Pakistan/AFG in the late 70's....his pictures in 6 weeks are so much deeper than any I've got. Just incredible. Maybe the "rule" for India because its so crowded and "fast" one should just slow down some more. In my experience, despite the traffic and din, India is really a very laid back country.

Durbar Square has got 4 or 5 entrances. I paid admission fee only at main street. Other entrances free (!?).
