Madison WI Area Meet & Greets / Gatherings

I thought I'd start a new thread for all of our ongoing meet ups around the area instead of still posting on the old one and trying to track you all down on all the other tag threads. So here is it, the new Madtown ADV hangout thread!

If anyone is just headed out for a scoot after work and is looking for a companion to join them or if your looking to meet up and eat pie (Mary ) with some fellow ADV peeps, feel free to post all those things here!

I'm still mad at myself for not running up to Riley last week.. Rode past the area several times during the weekend, though..

And Zora, thanks for taking the initiative to organize these.. Sometimes all it takes is someone to say "We're meeting at ______" and it takes care of itself.. But someone's gotta say where ______ is going to be..

Thanks for starting this! Rockdale is too far for me, but if there is a closer one I'll try to make it.

About an hour west of Madison, between Lone Rock and Dodgeville, in driftless paradise.

I just picked this up at Madison Motorsports today.

I will be out of town that day riding in another hillclimb event ( ) so we can't make it, but I wanted to pass it on cuz I am crazy about critters and even more so about animal rescue. It's supposed to be gorgeous Sunday and looks like it would be fun.

Now that I can just about guaranty I'll make.

Sun Prairie dawgs got to represent.

We'll be the KLX parking corral.

So the cafe meet today was kind of uninspiring. A few cool bikes but very low attendance.

I hereby propose a Sunday night meet at the midget races at Angell Park Spreedway in Sun Prairie. They run every Sunday night through Labor Day. Let's come up with a night in the next few weeks. Who's in?

But the company was excellent! Who knew there were so many KLXs in Sun Prairie. LOL

Well, thanks for that. I've already been pricing Wolfman tank bags due to your inspiration.

I'm in for the Midget races at Angell. I've lived in Sun Prairie for six years and haven't gone to them yet. And for those uninitiated, don't make the mistake my daugthers did and think the races featured Herve Villechez. They are midget RACING cars.

Sounds like a good plan. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the selected date.

I've never been to Angell either but I can hear them from my house so I figure if I have to listen to them I might as well be watching them. Roundy-round racing isn't usually my thing but I reckon the company of some ADV types can only make it better.
