I searched but couldn't find any threads on Exhaust Pipes for the F800GS, so..... let's talk exhaust pipes... Akrapovic? Remus? AC Schnitzer? Others? Seeing some performance data would be great, rider reviews too. I'd be looking for improved performance, and a nice growl of course. If you have pipes, maybe throw 'em up on Youtube . Sound clips would be most excellent! :ear..... Pictures too

I just put a Leo Vince Evo II carbon on mine yesterday.
Nice sound (although I haven't taken a ride yet- too much rain)
It has an easy-to remove silencer. with it in its quiet but a little deeper
sound than the stock pipe with a little bit of growl.
With the silencer removed its louder but not crazy loud. I left it out and will test ride today- as soon as I recover from this Fantasy Fest hangover
I'll get some pics and possibly video
I like the look of the smaller dark pipe instead of the big stainless canister.
$500 delivered and went on very easily.
I'll comment on performance and sound after I ride it.

Went for a ride and I like the sound. Didn't notice an obvious difference in throttle response but streets are too crazy right now to really test it.

I just got my new Holeshot exhaust from Dale Walker yesterday. The exhaust note is slightly louder than the stock pipe but with the optional baffle insert it quiets down approx 5dbs. It's a compact design, slips on in 5 minutes. We ran the bike on his dyno and it produced about 2 more hp with a slight increase in torque across the powerband and it's 6 lbs lighter than stock muffler. Dales website is www.holeshot.com . Pipe and info will be on his website within a week.

How did you reroute the exhaust?

I haven't looked that closely but were you able to use a straight piece in place of the c.c. ?

Nay, I had it done by some pros. They left the shape the same, and just argon welded the hole closed again once it was removed. If you looked at it you wouldnt have noticed it was out.
