back to the shop after work, which is also a shop, but a different shop. yeah

got the Oatey plug to fit, turns out it wasn't the rubber that was too big it was the inner plastic piece, a quick lap around the plastic on the disc sander remedied that.

so then i tested the Oatey plug, works great, looks poopy

then put my 1/4" plate from the one i made the other day and got rid of the red outer Oatey plug, and it looks good.

i then made a flat "wing nut" out of some flat aluminum bar, trying to see what looks right.

i think i like the flat bar, but it needs a little refinement, ill try another rendition on the mill tomorrow, as i was busy making parts to fill another order.

i took the tube home and installed on the bike, with the regular wing nut.

i think I'm pretty satisfied. i still need to drill and safety cable the stud for the wing nut, but other than maybe the wing nut itself, this is a pretty done project.

i figure i can sell it with the plug and cap and everything ready to bolt on, for $90. if anyone's interested, I'm ready to make the next batch of 5.

Ok need some help guys. I was working on the bike and I noticed that my front sprocket has a little side to side play. Its not a whole lot maybe 1mm or so but I am not sure if thats normal. Running a 14T sprocket and the procycle retainer.

    That wobble is normal.
The retainer plate is simply holding the sprocket inline for the most part
Of course the sprockets spline needs to be a reasonable fit on the matching output shaft spline.

Ok thanks guys, I wanted to make sure everything was GTG. Don't need to bust an output shaft for a correctable mistake (should that have been the case)

I assume your bike already has the adjustable jet needle (European standard). Before installing the after market jet kit (which will likely dramatically affect your fuel consumption) I'd suggest you experiment with the clip position on the needle and idle mixture screw.
