I'm working on a 2007 TTR 125LE. Im a little new to carbs so let me know if I sound stupid. The carb didnt seem to be taking fuel so I took it apart and cleaned it, but it already seemed pretty clean. Now when I try to reinstall the bottom half (the bowl), one the of floats seems to get snagged and pushed up, therefore closing the needle valve. Now I'm thinking that must be the original reason it wasn't taking fuel was because the floats were stuck up. How could this have happened? Is there a trick to putting the bowl back on correctly so that the floats can move freely? Everytime I try to slide the bowl back into place I can feel the floats pushing back.
There is probably a brass tube to route overflow out of the bowl that may be snagging as you assemble it. Look for a hole/slot for it to fit into. It probably only fits one way, you tried reversing it?
