Memphis Area Rides/Events

It was brought up on another thread that we need a place to post rides and/or events taking place, it doesn't have to be an organized deal...it could just be "I have some spare time this afternoon I'm riding to _____ if anyone wants to go?"

I don't care it could even be I got to run to the grocery and I need to get out of the house so I'm going to the grocery in the next county! (I know you've all had days like that)

Post it up even if its a trail ride, weekend ride, road, dirt, dual sport, camping, or even "I'm driving across country with business and I can't give you any perks but if you want to tag along and see the country (and pay your own way) your welcome to come along!"
Sometimes you want to ride alone...sometimes you just want a buddy!This is for that time!

Have I made it clear? Anything at all that you wouldn't mind if someone or no-one shows up for!

Cool chart.
Not counting that negative spike, I read about a 15 ft difference
from last 2 years.
Was told by someone in the know that,
the water levels are strictly controlled with chart they go by
day by day. Recent rain must of thrown em off schedule.

Considering the rain, and the end-of-semester on the horizon overwhelming me with stuff to do, I'll have to pass on tomorrow.

I couldn't pin down my in-town in-laws on their schedule today to see if I had time to go so I didn't bother loading the bike in my truck before work. So I guess I'm out. unless the boss walks in now and sends me home. (which could be bad cause it'd mean I'm fired)

I think this thread has some good potential! I will be checking it regularly.

Is there any local interest in having a tech day?
Drink beer,smoke cigarettes,work on bikes...........

Thinking about a dual sport/geocaching ride up around Natchez Trace state park on Sunday. Some pretty good gravel roads in the park and some cool looking geo's between there and the TN river.

I'm in. I would do that Dixie Dual sport ride in Talladegha if it wasn't full.

Mapsource topo shows a cpl really long trails
just west of the park. 1-25 miles long(n-south)
and 1-20 miles long(e-west)
any chance those actually exist?

Saturday, 10/31. I've gotta take my 1150GS over to BMW of Little Rock.

1) Anyone want to ride along? I've got to be there @ 9a for an appointment but will undoubtably take the small fun roads home.

2) Anyone need anything? I've got 2 Jesse's and a flat rear section where I've tied down some pretty big stuff.
