I agree. If the area around the Hearst Castle is not inspiring enough, this is the premier event for people who aspire to travel around the world or maybe just to South America. You can camp on site or Motel 6 it in San Simeon. Travelers who have been to every continent where there are roads put on slide shows morning till night. And there are tech sessions on fixing things on the road. I am going. Hope to see you there. Dave

Poor camping there, not enough showers, maybe camp at San Simeon Creek campground, ride in and find a bicycle rider and offer to pay his camp fee ($5) if you can pitch your tent on his site

Please look out for Hans at the meeting. He arrived from Norway last Friday. We bought a bike Saturday. He spent a week getting panniers and such. Today Saturday, he leaves for a little tour before Cambria.

He is riding a black BMW R1150R with Hepco Becker bags and a Norwegian flag.

    Nice man. Good rider.

Treat him well...he likes BEER :freakywith his food :deal

Think I will attend on Saturday. Considering I work in Cambria and live over the hill. No real excuse not to.
Ran into Mike and Jo (white elephant) last week while they were Cambria. Really nice people.
