"Keep going!" This was the first thing out of my 6 year old son Charlie's mouth after a ten minute shakedown run with his new gear. Mom said he had THE LOOK in his eyes after we got back! Looks like we got ourselves another ADVer in training! This one'll be more better looking, though....
Keep Going!!!!!!!!! Glad you posted this. Great Pic! 50 years from now Charlie will remember this day with you. You are a good man. Thanks for sharing. Jed.
We went for our first ride of the year yesterday. CW is now 7 years old and filling in his suit nicely. Here he is geared up and ready to ride.... We put on about 30 miles, stopping at Double Trouble State Park to do some hiking/exploring. Afterwards we decided to make a stop at the local WaWa for some refreshments. Eating Lunchables.... A beautiful day, good riding, and great father/son bonding time. The first thing he said to his mother when he took his helmet off was "We got one wave."
I finally had a camera today as Charlie and I took a quick ice cream run.... He's 9 now, and getting ready to outgrow his Stoke suit he has used for a couple years now.... Playing with the camera.... Still trying to get the angles right....
We took a trip up to New Hampshire over the weekend, did over a thousand miles! Here we are fueling up on the NY state Thruway, heading for Vermont.
It was great to be riding with my son for the weekend, and he said what every father who loves riding wants to hear, "I'd like to learn to ride!" Music to my ears....
