Just finished the Laguna Route out of Bolivia into Chile. Great riding, highly recommend the challenge, but it's brutal on the bike.

Now I am riding with a damaged rear shock (lost oil).

I will be arriving in Northern Argentina in the next couple of days.
Ideally I would like to repair it in Salta if possible, to save riding all the way to Mendoza without damping :-)

Can anyone recommend a good tech to rebuild my shock in Northern Argentina?

I fly to the USA from Mendoza on the 18th of December before returning January 12th.

I am also looking for a cheap place to store my bike while I am in the USA.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

You're in luck. I found a great father/son workshop in a small neighborhood in Salta a few years back. They are very handy. I lost their contact information, but I remember them being popular among local BMW riders. Maybe someone else will chime in.

    Good luck!

I think it's the Guillermo referenced in post 4 over on horizons unlimited.

I think he moved since then, but it's a start.

I've got a guy in Mendoza if you don't have it sorted by then.
