I am on a lifelong mission to explore the world and making video documentaries on every region/country I pass through (I work through the internet so I have no particular schedule). At the moment by motorcycle through SE Asia.
In Malaysia I have been suggested the following route: http://bit.ly/1qhsGRa. I like to drive through beautiful nature, visit interesting places, and stay away from touristic areas or even cities. I'd like to research what I visit and put a narrative over the videos, with links to more information. I have put together a couple of roadtrip videos on my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/kenaxxxx/videos, but I was rushing for the border. Now I'd like to slow down and really explore each region I pass through, and compile useful and interesting information for people who want to do the same. To really discover a country and its people, by renting a car or motorbike. Not intended for the McD tourist crowd, but to really show the most beautiful parts of a country and its people and history. Would appreciate any suggestions you might have, and would be glad to hook up along the way. If you're local and not shy I would like to include in the videos interviews with locals, possibly devise mini skits to give a message as opposed to a simple interview. I'm in Kota Bharu at the moment, legalising my motorbike for this country, and plan to embark in about a week. I'm headed for KL, from where I will ship my bike to Borneo, so that I can explore that big island. Then it's on to Bali, Philippines and the rest of the world. Would be great to hook up along the way!
