Anyone have any suggestions. I have always worn mesh or had a one piece suit. Been out of the game a while and still have my Olympia jacket, but need some touring/commuting over pants that don't break the bank.

Thanks, I prefer mesh or something that flows air. Rain doesn't bother me too much. I will look into those Xelement's

The flea market here is where I have gotten 90% of my gear, I think my mesh pants are Olyimpia, but even used they cost more $$$ than the Exelement pants

I have had my Olympia AST jacket since 2007 or so and it's been a great investment.

How much can you spend? What you consider budget, the next guy might consider premium prices, or vice versa.

Size does matter to an extent that some brands only offer up to certain sizes. Olympia only offers up to a 44 waist. And most try to do a one size fits all for waist and length combinations. I went to small local place maybe a month ago and he beat anything I could order online by almost $40.

Next time I will be getting custom made ones from Aerostich so I have the right waist and inseam sizes.

I am looking at around $200 on the high end of the spectrum. I have had fieldsheer mesh and they were good. Had some Darien Aerostitch and they were too hot for summer riding and seemed really stiff (and they were used)

Going to look at Olympia and some more googling and flea market searching
