Hello Myway, I did this and tried with Eurosport 1 and 2, but what I get just now is other sports like squash... So maybe I don't understand how does it works, or maybe simply you have not uploaded anything so far? many thanks!
This is TV schedule and not VOD video on demand. See here the eurosport schedule is UK GMT so you have to calculate your time, tonight 22:00 hr GMT 0 UK there is Dakar on eurosport 1. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=851764
So if my maths are correct... that means in 42 minutes (or so) there will be Dakar on that player stream?
Hey, I just created a Google calendar for the Eurosport coverage, this way you can have the full schedule in your phone or whatever calendar application you prefer. All show times were saved as GMT, so they should adjust for your local time when you view them. Right now Eurosport only has its schedule posted up until the 18th, I'll do my best to keep it up to date as they update their schedule. Let me know if there are any issues and I will fix. It works just fine on my MacBook. Just grab the URL you want (not all of them like I did the first time) and plug it into a VLC player. It's a thing of beauty.
i keep getting errors i will try again. I changed the end to .m3u and added to playlist by open media>Network> dropped Http: into the URL link. Is this right? Thanks for the help
Yes that's right i think i have other language installed. It is simple. Open netwerk stream and copy the http url.m3u8 but do not change to .m3u Do you have the right videolan for your system http://www.videolan.org/vlc/#download I do not have a mac, think it must be similair. Or you use a playlist.m3u and open de file in videolan. VLC The single streamlinks must be ........m3u8. not always there is also mms:// rstp://.. and other extension Eurosport 1 Code: http://esioslive2-i.akamaihd.net/hls/live/201149/AL_ESP1_INT_ENG/playlist_1800.m3u8 Here the ATV list In such a playlist the first line must be #EXTM3U Try it again and let me know!
I uninstalled VLC and re installed then the last*.m3u8 file worked. I must have messed up a setting, thanks for the help
Myway, you're a hero! Streaming's working great down in South Africa with my macbook. cmcauliffe, thanks for the calendar! It certainly helps me plan my next two weeks... and my phone beeping in the middle of a meeting will be a good excuse for me to get out of there!
