Welcome bones, you may want to keep an eye on this one:

Most the meetups are dirt road oriented with some big bike trail riding for good measure :evil

A few of us have GPX files for the asking.

This thread brings back very nice memories, when I was a kid growing up in Killingworth (70's-80's), every now and then on weekends there were enduro races that had a road section past my house, I would sit at the upstairs window so I could watch all the cool dirt bikes drive by single file for a few hours. Wow, I had forgotten about that until I saw this thread!! Sorry to post off topic.

There's another place I want to explore, just for the helluvit. Can't wait til I get my bike back...... Still not done.....

There's a recently cleared and maintained powerline section in middlebury that was just stoned and not gated yet. Probably not very long, but it's new, off road, and hilly.

I can always take the wife's bike now for cruising, which is actually kinda fun. Different experience. She's on day two of her MSC. Just passed the written with a 100.

As of last ride they were clear and a little muddy. Or Fun as all get out.

More activity in the forums linked in post #29
Follow those you'll get more up to date ride info. Not sure exactly when my next ride will be. Depends on how quick I recover from meniscus surgery

I don't have one together yet that direction. I'll take a look and see what I have to help ya. Maybe some of the Hudson guys can help get you to CT?

I'm on a Dr350se with knobbies so dirty and fun would be nice. Scenic is always a bonus. I dont need to go to bridgeport, I can also go through nyc to get to LI.

    Thanks
