Where's a good place to eat breakfast at around 0400 in TOK ?
Alternately, where's a good place to sleep a couple hours, while waiting to eat breakfast in Tok ?

    Hey Bud,
Biscuits & gravy @ the Burnt Paw cabins!
Doubt they're serving at 0400, but might be worth waiting a few hrs for; had 'em there in '03 and still fondly remembered as the best.
Ride safe-- had a great date tonight but still thinking I shoulda chased you anyway.

    Fast Eddies.

Even if the food wasn't good, and the food is great, I'd recommend them solely because on a cold April evening last spring they let me stay in their hotel and fed me dinner with nothing more than an IOU that I'd be able to have money in my account or be able to get in contact with a relative with a credit card in the morning. I was broke as hell when I moved up here, and the last bit of money in my bank account was being held no damn reason ($100+ hold on a <$20 fillup) thanks to using my card to fill up in Beaver Creek Yukon. They didn't have to give me a room, and they certainly didn't have to feed me, but they did and I'm forever grateful.

Dawson was warm, low 80's Saturday.
    90 degrees in TOK Sunday..
Fast Eddie's lunch special : Pot Roast Sandwich, and a full pitcher of ice tea. Damn good lunch, if a little slow service.

Rolled onto the ( empty ) ferry at Dawson,YT 0625, made it through Homer,AK by 2315

17 hours e.t. including 90 minute lunch at Fat Eddies.

Fast Eddies also has the best salad bar on the Alaska Highway, if I remember right. Sure wish I was riding that way again.
