    What Horror ?

I think it's great that a real racer like Valentino wanted to try a ride in a NAPCAR . My guess is , he probably fell asleep from boredom after two laps :rofl

Funny part is Rossi got that thing up to a competitive pace in a day. I wonder how Kyle Bush would do with the M1 :lol3

MotoGP.Com is reporting that Ben Spies will not race at Jerez due to continued shoulder problems.

Anyone want to give odds that he'll be out of a ride before the end of the season?

I have a feeling he may never recover physically.

Agreed. Feel bad for him, but that's life. In spite of his stellar rise from wsb to motogp, it was a battle. Considering that Nicky won the world championship coming from the same feeder system and Ben was supposed to enter and dominate.

I watched Spies all the way out of AMA superbike to MotoGP and really did expect him to end up a world champion there one day. I was a solid fan until the end of last season, when I started realizing he may never make it to the top. Now, this season, he isn't doing any better, sad to see. Still, it takes nothing away from his accomplishments otherwise, and he did win a MotoGP race, many never even make it to that point.

I get it with Ben and I hope it isn't the end of his career, but shoulders suck. I had two surgeries on mine and it still hurts ever day. Neil Hodgson's career ended because of a bad shoulder.
Hope he recovers enough to ride around in 8-10th on the Duc.

Doctor's advising 3 weeks of therapy then back at it. I don't care who your doctor is, 3 weeks is not enough to heal a shoulder. He may be able to push the bike around but there'll be chronic damage.
Too bad, but cest la vie. Maybe he can get on the pedal circuit? Not much for counter-steering there.

The owner of Ignite wanted a) an American, and b) a Ducati. Spies' ride is safe. Whether that's a good thing is a different matter.

It would be a shame to see Ben go out this way.
