Yeah, I would sure hope that it wouldn't go into production with exposed electrical components or whatever the blue and yellow areas are just in front of the tank. I think in finished form, it will look good for a power-cruiser or whatever it is supposed to be. Could it look worse than an M109R or a 2nd-gen V-Max?
That may or may not be the final product, but the original idea is pretty much the same. I think the looks of the final bike will not change much of this test bikes.
I've got mixed feelings about this one. I think it'd be a great bike for the riding I like doing around here but so far I'm not really getting the look. Of course, it may be out of proportion with some tiny Ducati test-rider on it, but I'd still take a new V-max any day of the week and twice on Sunday over this.
It's official. Ducati has completed it's transformation from a motorcycle company to a "lifestyle brand" ala Harley Davidson.
BMW Vs. Ducati, Which one will manage to produce the worlds all time ugliest motorcycle? Looks like both are fighting hard for the honor.
Put me in the camp of....... a short guy (like, REALLY short), who wants to own a bike I can reach the ground from, with lotsa power, mid controls (instead of the gaye forward controls), decent geometry for (at least) decent/safe handling, good brakes, sounds good, and something I don't hafta dress like a pirate when pose'n next to it.
Hey if it's got good power Id buy it. It's always fun to have something different instead the same old thing every other guy buys.
