Well thanks for a grand day out Steve, 130 miles on the bike door to door and a pleasantly tired feeling for me!

But how is Ela? Her foot/ankle was very sore after her tumble, I imagine she can't walk on it by now. All the best anyway, hope it's nothing serious.

Can't believe I'm the only one to post and say thanks and stuff, are people posting elsewhere?

Thanks for your good wishes, Laurence!

You're right, I can't walk properly yet - went to A&E today and it turned out that I broke the navicular bone in my foot... :rolleyes

Still, apart from that - it was a great day, wasn't it? :ricky Some people have been posting on UKGSer. Photos to follow soon.

Oh noooooo I'm sorry to hear that! How long do they reckon before you can be back on the pegs?

Does this mean you're being waited on hand and foot :D

Was it because you didn't get enough chocolate???

It was a great day (apart from that!) I love it up on the Downs

I'll check the other place for piccies then.

    Get well soon!

Certainly not my fault, Ela's more than capable of hurting herself without any outside assistance.

Less said about that the better, the ride home was interesting, especially filtering on the M25....

Back to hospital tomorrow for a CT scan & another visit to the Trauma Clinic, will post the results up.

See you on the 12th Jason. :thumb

Thank you for all the good wishes for Ela. :thumb

She should have had the operation today but her foot was too swollen, so it's delayed until Monday, she's staying in until it's done.

Visited her a couple of times today, she's doing well and with luck, should be out on Wednesday at the latest if it all goes to plan.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear....

Didn't you learn since beginners class it's better to break the bike than yourself ;-)

Get well soon Ella, sure hope all will be fine before your big trip.

    Hi Rose,

She listened to Wilfried, that was the problem..... :D How's his shoulder, hopefully okay by now?

Visited Ela again this evening, she had 3 screws inserted in to her foot late yesterday, hopefully out by the weekend.

PM me for her mobile number if you want to text or call her.

    Cheers

    Steve
