Hi I have a 2007 R12S now. It does have ABS but not Servo. Can I bleed the brakes like normal without the bleeder funnel (which i have). Or is there some other special way to do this?

Also, I'm going to lube my splines and flush the final drive. any tips on how to do this without a center stand?

I doing the service with my Trusty Jim Von Boden JVB maintenance CD i bought for my GS back in the day.

    Thank you,

No funnel needed, just normal old school bleeding. You could use a jack under the engine/trans to lift the rear for spline lube/final servicing, etc.

Thanks Mike. I'm going to get cracking today. I'm at the point where I can do the..........:

    final drive oil
    transmission oil
    engine oil
    brake bleed
    belt
    air filter
    spark plugs
    valve adjustment

..........in a few hours. Can't believe I paid over $800 at one point in time to BMW when I can do it myself for less than $150 same day.
