Hi Team I have a BMW R1150 GS That came to me as a accident damaged bike. The tank is off being repaired and will need new paint. So do I do a cheap easy job in stealth black? Or maybe Dakar White with some cool Tri Colour Dakar Stripes similar to the Unit Garage version. I think they need to go in the other direction.? Obviously in real life I'll get some one with skill and an artistic eye for the final job :rofl

If any one can send me the Paint codes for the White and the Tri Colour Stripes that would be great. Cheers

Since changing out the stupid logo sticker for an adventure style one, I've been much happier with the mandarin color though.

lol...thanks Jim, no offence taken. No it is not my bike, it is a reproduction of the Gauloises Dakar bikes BMW used to run, not 1150's obviously.... Actually my favorite color scheme is the white 2006 SE Adventure model!!!

Isn't it a great world where we can express our opinions and not get upset?:freaky

BTW, the best looking GS to me is this one:

My favorite as well. In fact my yellow 1150 is in danger of a make over:

The pic is not my bike. I needed an alpine bike as a template.

Dirt Boy are you painting all or using graphics for striping?

I have seen somewhere on this site a version of the blue and white Williams theme done in muted black and silver with mealflake then smoke.
    It looked uberkewl to me.
Sorry can't point you to it. Might ring a bell for someone here though.
