RACE COVERAGE thread: 2013 SCORE Baja 1000

I think the Rider of Record must either start the race or finish the race. So Timmy will most likely hop on for just the last 100 feet or so of the race. Still will take up some time in such a close race. Colton and David have done a great job with just the two of them...(although I'm still partial to a KTM first place finish)...

2x looks like they have an 8-9 minute lead now.

"Just in: Colton destroyed front wheel on the Honda at about mile 791. Honda team enroute to help out. But I think that will hand the win to KTM pretty easy now.

"Okay the story line is starting to get wild.
Honda lost over ten minutes doing a wheel change from the Helicopter. They have now passed race mile 800.
But the KTM has not arrived at 800 yet! Ivan is waiting to see the bike cross there. They may be stopped on the course with their own issue. It would have happened at nearly the exact time as the Honda problem."

Ktm mechanic posted in Instagram 1x and 2x are 1 min apart at 780, honda reported damaged wheel at 790.

Sounds like 1X and 2 X are still battling it out and the time interval is mere minutes. Looks like they are going to hit finish line around 5:00 -
