    I have a suggestion.

Why not post this question on a gun forum?

For a motorbike forum there are more than enough gun threads from obsessed scared yanks already.

Will consider your suggestion if you consider one. Don't read threads in the open sections of a forum

    :rolleyes

Which means there are a lot of shooters here, which translates to a wealth of knowledge from which to obtain information and opinions.

If you don't like guns, you might consider not clicking on a thread link that has the name or model of a gun in the title.

It's pretty safe to say there is a lot of everything on ADV, I posted a computer problem here last week and while I didn't get the exact answer one of the suggestions got me on the right track. And this is after tech support failed to do it after 2 hours.

Perhaps you two morans might like to seek advice about sig handguns here:

    http://www.sigforum.com/

I'm willing to bet there is more knowledge about sig handguns there than here. Unless you just wanted to saturate advrider with yet more shit about guns and how you are sheepdogs who are willing to take on the responsibility of protecting sheep against wolves and predators with your 9mm pseudophallus. Well, wolves, predators and drunks eh Bueller?

Fucking obsessed cretins. I like guns. I just choose not to bore the interweb about mine.

Just a basic thing but with a 1911 you're going to carry locked and cocked, which means you'll need a holster and clothes it wont snag on. I like the 1911 a lot myself but as a CCW the LC9 is better.

    Mr. Mouse,

The Sig forum is just that. I asked for a comparison and info from someone experienced in both mentioned pieces.

Find that pill that will help you.

Have you thought about the M&P shield?

Same size, better trigger, striker fire so you don't have a hammer that can get snagged, or the long pull of the LC9.

There is a gigantic Gun Thread, a Rimfire thread, a tacticool thread.

    Used them.

    It's all the same crap.

We both know CCW and a host of other crap - all of it, really - is discussed, argued, opined, and blathered about, a hundred times over.

I shot a Shield the other day and really liked it, problem is there are none to be found outside of Gunbroker and they're priced too high.
