After a few great rides with others from the area, we realized there was a need for a Pittsburgh Area thread to post local rides. So here it is...

Let's see what you got Pittsburgh!

I'm going to get out my PA Gazetteer and start looking for some fun.

In the meantime, this thread would be a good location to store a few good routes, roads, POIs or waypoints.

Anyone ever been to Four Seasons Resort, Rock Run or Mines & Meadows? Looking to maybe do a camp out with the kids in a couple weeks and thought we'd give them a try.

Four Seasons is all two-track ATV trails. It is a good place for kids. The trails aren't difficult. There is a track area that kids will enjoy. You'll need to have proof of insurance for all of the bikes.

Rock Run is a cool place with a lot of everything. Roads, two-track, single track, play areas. They are only open on weekends this time of the year.

I've never been to Mines and Meadows.

    How old are your kids?

I'll tell you what. I'm trying to get something more trail friendly than my F800. When I do you bring your boys and your camper to my place. Set up for the wknd I dont have massive trails but I can keep a 7 and 10 yr old busy riding. I should of never sold my KTM . Now looking to replace it.

That sounds awesome hightest! They'll love it.

I've been itching to get out and play! I've been watching Romaniacs on YouTube and have delusions of grandeur! As well I've been watching enduro techniques and I'm just amazed at what these guys are doing. Every day I head home and tty out something new. I'm about to set up an obstacle course in the woods to play on. It would be great for the boys as well.

Anyway, I'm having a blast with the new bike. Should've bought a dirt bike years ago.

Give it a little while for guys to warm up to the new watercooled gs. Should be lots of used oilheads available. Might be in the market myself.
