AND it's ONLY $20 a trip across. Just wait for me at the crossing, give me the $$ and I'll pay for both of us:rofl:rofl

The TOW Hwy has been muddy at least one direction each of the past 6yrs I've ridden it. This last year the dry gravel going to Dawson also seemed the loosest and squirrelliest I've felt. I almost pulled over a couple times to see if I had a flat front tire it was so squirrelly. I even heard another rider say that he DID pull over to check his tires!

And yes, the Yukon ferry crossing is free and leaves every 10min or so 24-7.

And remember, when you come to a construction zone on the hwy that it's okay for motorcycles to go to the front of the line.

I guess I just great timing last year. I didn't see any rain or mud on TOW last year. I may have just jinxed myself, but what the heck. Looking forward to Inuvik afterward.

    No? :rolleyes
From the looks of things you haven’t read much of this Alaska forum. There is no need to “reinvent the wheel” when the answers to all the questions you have been asking are already in here.
You might start at the top of this page & work your way back to page 90.

There is also a very good way to search. Just replace the word test with whatever term you are looking for & hit enter.

So Nutty, I have some questions for you. How old are you? Are you in school? Grade or level? Is English your primary language? Anything you'd like to add? Curious minds want to know.

Actually..... posts on this thread DO need to be important.
Some of yours go beyond that.

Outside riders and most newbees look at this one for pertinent/up-to-date details in order to plan their trips.

Solid information (without mindless dribble) negates the need for unnecessary bumps.
JM and other like-threads are just down the hall.
Save your talents for places like Twatter and FarceBook.

Am I the only one that dumps most of the air out of the tires in Chicken? The pavement was a little scary at times, but I never noticed any loose gravel this last year.
